Jennifer & Joe’s Pro Pics

September 4th, 2010

Boy do I wish that I  1.) had more time to track down client’s pro pics and/or 2) had more time to properly photograph and blog everything that’s been going on at Custom Paper Works lately. There’s over a year of projects in the “to photograph” pile that grows daily.

Someday I’ll get to them, and there’s a lot of great new concepts and designs that I’m dying to share.

In the mean time, I recently heard back from Jennifer, who had me create half a dozen different items for her wedding in Jamaica. You can see her save the dates here, and my snapshots of her wedding-day extras here.

She was kind enough to share her pro pics, taken by Paula and Damian of Sun Gold Photography and they’re great!

Love how the programs were hung from the chairs!

Had fun designing signature drink cards featuring Lilly, their hound dog who had the blues because she couldn’t be in Jamaica for the wedding. Too cute!

Celia’s invitations were show-stoppers. One of the most luxurious-looking passport wedding invitations I’ve created to date, thanks to the rich and bold color scheme and gold foil-stamped covers. While her invitation covers were stamped with gold for an authentic look, silver was the accent for her wedding day.

I custom-designed a die-cut fan which was foil-stamped with silver.

Damask Chandelier Table Numbers

February 28th, 2010

Each invitation designer at the Engagement Ball last night was given the opportunity to provide reception stationery  for a sample table in various themes. I jumped at the pink table because it is something different than many of the invitations I usually create.

Here’s a peek at the table number I created. Better photos will follow with the entire table set of menu cards and favor tags … just a quick photo I snapped for now.

The die-cut table number is printed on white shimmer paper with a soft silver damask pattern and crystals on either side. To top it off, a chandelier crystal hangs from the sign and makes it extra-luxurious! The table numbers can hang from tall centerpieces with a long ribbon as shown below, or hang from special sign holders that would still allow the crystal to hang freely.

These table numbers would be an amazing accent for weddings, bat mitzvas or sweet sixteen parties.

I can’t wait to get photos of Arielle’s Valentine’s Day wedding invitations because they are über-themed with hearts, hearts, and more hearts.

In the mean time, here is her seating chart which I adore!

Heather's Seating Chart

September 26th, 2009

I’m long over-due to post Heather’s save the dates and invitations, and will be shipping her wedding-day extras very soon.  Here’s a little taste of her invitation suite design which was carried onto her super-elegant seating chart.

I’m in love with her gold, ivory and eggplant color scheme.
