The mini boarding pass save the date was something that sort of evolved from my mini boarding pass rsvp cards. Someone asked about them at one point, and *poof!* I make them all the time now.

Kathleen was looking for a very specific purple and loved the look and feel of thermography printing. With purple and silver as her wedding colors, there was no room for white paper in these save the dates!

Christine’s Orchid Save the Date Magnets

Christine’s invitations will be a joy to design and I can’t wait to start them. But in the mean time, she needed some Save the Dates!

The orchid theme will be carried onto her invitations and here are used to frame one of their engagement photos for a stunning save the date magnet.

Carolyn’s Palm Tree Save the Date Carrier Cards

Carolyn loved Liz’s Fall Tree Save the Date carrier cards. She is having a destination wedding though, so palm trees are the soft backdrop to her magnets which will be placed on top of their names on the front of the card. The travel information fills out the back creating her elegant save the dates that just happen to hold a lot of information.

I’m looking forward to working with Carolyn on her invitations soon!

Boarding Pass Save the Dates

I was so excited to do these Save the Dates after using the mini boarding passes with some of the Passport Invitations. I’ll be creating Natasha’s Passport Invitations soon, and the boarding pass save the date is a perfect way to coordinate the travel theme. These are sized to fit into a standard business envelope, and the Amethyst metallic envelope is GORGEOUS.

Liz’s Fall Tree Save the Dates

Liz is getting married in the fall, and had already had a magnet design in mind to get printed at Vista Print. I basically just set up the file for her to ensure that it printed as intended. The cards and envelopes that will arrive with the magnet needed to hold lots of travel information, and compliment the magnet design.

Liz was looking for something to represent fall, with a “fresh and airy” feel to it. The tree artwork fits that description perfectly, and work well with the magnet design. No corner is left unturned, as the card still needs to look good once the magnet is removed. I am looking forward to working on Liz’s invitations, which will also feature the tree design.

Jen’s Paisley Swirl Save the Dates

The first element from Jen and Joe’s stationery ensemble is the Save the Date postcard. She wrote a super-cute poem that I thought should be the real focal point. She’s using the Regalia paisley-patterned paper in her invitations later and borrowed some hints of the pattern to accent the Save the Date.

Abby’s Bright Shower Invitations

I’m designing Abby’s wedding invitations, but worked with her sister on these super-bright shower invitations. I love how they turned out! We almost went with more subdued colors for the envelopes but found the Sorbet papers to be really fun.

Abby’s Italian Olives

Abby chose this rustic olive branch sketch to adorn her save-the-date postcards for her wedding taking place in Italy. I love how it works with her paper choice to create a rustic, but still clean and modern feel. Check back later for her finished coordinating invitations!
