Charinna had seen several of the passport invitations we designed for previous Bar Mitzvah celebrations and liked the color schemes but wanted to add more gold accents. A luxurious bronzy gold metallic envelope was selected to compliment the gold foil imprinting on the front cover.
Only two pages were needed inside and they wanted to really personalize each invitation – so the photo area was left blank so each guest could add their own photo and bring the passport to gain entry to the party. What a fun idea!
One of the things I like to do most is customize tiny details within each invitation. Even with a small amount of space, there are lots of areas for serious personalization such as the faux passport stamps with a Hebrew name.
Because much of their family would be traveling to celebrate, we also designed mini boarding pass save the dates that were sent out months before the invitations. They were a fun hint at the theme that was in the works:
