CHERRY RED VINTAGE PLANE WEDDING INVITATIONS

Passport invitations work for hometown weddings too, especially when the couple has a long history of traveling the world together. When travel is what you LIVE for, a travel theme wedding is a natural extension of your personalities and can be tons of fun to plan!

These brides came to me with a bit of a plan: specific colors, a desire for very ‘textural’ papers, a custom illustration and specific poem, and request for a retro airplane design on the front cover of their passport invitations. Otherwise, they were looking for a relatively simple, little bit mid-century design for their wedding at Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Illinois.

These beautiful brides had so much fun and infused so many creative touches into their wedding, such as an entire bridal party in beautifully formal flight attendant attirethat it was published on Rock N Roll Bride! If you’ve never visited the site, you should check it out for TONS of unique and creative inspiration for couples who are looking to infuse some real personality and soul into their wedding.

As always, with custom-created designs, the passport stamps can be personalized with specific important locations, symbols, and dates as much as you want for your own invitations. The brides selected iconic monuments for most of their passport stamps.

This is an example of our 2-PAGE LUXE PASSPORT.

The difference between our passport invitations, and many others, is that you can hand-select the outside cover paper, the inside page paper, the rsvp card paper, and the envelopes and optional liners to be any colored paper you want. They don’t even all have to be the same. You can mix and match matte and shimmer finishes. We use high-quality, stationery-grade papers and cardstocks and REAL, old-school foil imprinting for the front covers – which is available in hundreds of colors as well.

And if you are interested, we can even help you select from a line of papers that is MADE in the Midwest – which means that you’d be pretty safe in saying that your entire invitation was entirely designed and made in the Midwest USA. We’d love to help you with that!
