ERIK’S PASSPORT BAR MITZVAH INVITATIONS WITH A CRUISE SHIP EMBLEM
Travel-themed Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations are popular year after year – possibly because it’s such a fun and easy theme to decorate for that can incorporate a teen’s love of travel, adventure, and specific destinations all at the same time.
Erik’s family loved the original design we created for another Bar Mitzvah celebration (scroll down to see a similar design with slightly different papers), and wanted to tweak it for theirs, which was held aboard the San Francisco Spirit with Hornblower Cruises & Events. The theme was “cruising into adulthood” and the same color was used inside of the passport and for the boarding pass RSVP postcard.
Lining the envelopes with our dark blue shimmer paper gave the entire invitation a luxurious feel right out of the mailbox.
As always, the faux passport stamps were ultra personalized, and scattered throughout the invitation. Even when taking inspiration from our previous designs, each is fully customized with any unique touches requested.
Table numbers and place cards were designed to continue the cruise ship theme at the mitzvah celebration. Coordinating your invitations and event stationery is an easy way to create a very custom, branded look that helps guests get into the party – and they’ll remember the details long after the celebration.
LANE’S CRUISE THEME BAR MITZVAH INVITATIONS
The concept was initially designed for a wonderful family that owns an event entertainment service specializing in themed events … so of course, it was going to be a fun project!
Custom foil-stamped covers with a modern cruise ship emblem and silver envelopes lined with dark blue shimmer add a luxurious, high-quality and custom look.
A lighter blue paper was used inside the passport, highlighted with stamps featuring the guest of honor’s favorite destinations. The multiple shades of blue and silver created a very mature and sophisticated look even with the fun “cruising into teens” theme.
